My lessons utilize a variety of strategies to activate prior knowledge, scaffold learning, and engage students. They are responsive to the needs and interests of students and incorporate appropriate differentiation, modifications, and extensions. 

Whenever possible I incorporate hands-on experiences and real world applications to provide context that deepens learning.
